Oct. 31, 2013 Carson Mencken, Ph.D., professor of sociology at Baylor's College of Arts & Sciences, is quoted in an article about Halloween and people's beliefs in the supernatural. Mencken studies the sociology of paranormal belief and said paranormal content has always been a major entertainment theme for many.
