Concentrations

A concentration in UNSC is usually understood as fifteen or more hours at the 3000-4000 level in a single subject/area or as completing the requirements for a minor. Students are encouraged only to apply the term “concentration” when they feel confident saying they have done (or will do) "substantial, advanced work" in that subject/area.

UNSC students can concentrate in any subject/area offered as a major in the College of Arts and Sciences and any minor offered at Baylor. For a list of College of Arts and Sciences degrees, click here. For a list of all secondary majors and minors in the University, please see the Baylor Undergraduate Catalog. For possible concentrations outside the College of Arts and Sciences please email University_Scholars@baylor.edu so you can discuss these options with an advisor.

To declare or update your concentration, please submit the UNSC Concentration Form.
