Event Planning Resources

Our staff brings diverse experiences to the table and can advise you on standards for Baylor events. Though your event may not necessitate our comprehensive involvement, we want to ensure the success of your event. The resources listed below will explain Baylor University's event policies and help you navigate the self-driven event planning process.

The Institutional Events team is directly responsible for booking Miller Chapel, McMullen-Connally Faculty Center and Reynolds Conference Suite. If you would like to request one of these facilities for your event, please fill out our event proposal to check availability.

The policies and procedures differ for all other university event venues. For a list of all other venues and instructions on how to request their use, please visit the Venue Information page.

Baylor Dining Services is the preferred provider of all campus food and beverage and is recommended for any catering function or affair on campus.Catered food can be ordered online through Baylor Dining Services with a university purchasing card.

Additionally, approved off-campus caterers may be used to cater department-hosted events and functions. Learn more about the approved off-campus caters here.

Please note: External guests and constituents holding an event on campus MUST USE Baylor Dining Services for all catering needs.

Our team will handle any necessary transportation arrangements for all managed events. If you need to book your own transportation services, please visit the Procurement Services website for vendor recommendations.
