Baylor Bound Transfer Agreements

Baylor University is committed to helping students transfer as easily as possible, which is the driving force behind our Baylor Bound Transfer Agreements.

Through Baylor Bound, students begin their college education at a participating institution, follow a prescribed course sequence, and ultimately earn a degree from Baylor University. Baylor Bound makes it possible to complete your Baylor degree in four years as a transfer student.

We currently have agreements with the following institutions:

How It Works

Through our transfer agreements, we provide the advisors at our partner institutions with Major Academic Planners (MAPs) for all majors that are included in the program. The MAPs indicate the course sequence students should follow at their community college to earn the appropriate number and types of credits required for their Baylor degree. Students then transfer to Baylor, most often after one year at the partner institution, and complete their degree at Baylor.

Who's Eligible

This program is best suited for highly motivated students who enroll full-time for one year beginning in the fall at a partner college in an approved AA or AS academic program leading to an approved Baylor BBA, BA or BS degree. To view details of the various degree programs, see the Baylor Bound MAPs (Major Academic Planners).

Transfer Benefits

Once students complete their first year at the partner college, they are eligible to apply for transfer admission into Baylor. Accepted students are eligible for transfer academic scholarships ranging up to $11,000 per academic year and will be considered for a Baylor Bound scholarship of $2,000-3,000 per academic year. Additionally, transfer students are eligible to apply to the Transfer Year Experience Living-Learning Center, or TYE-LLC. Housed in the University Parks apartment complex, the TYE-LLC provides an exciting opportunity for transfer students to live in a community with those who are experiencing many of the same transitions and changes.
