Professional Selling

The Professional Selling major is a competitive major supported by Baylor's Center for Professional Selling. The major prepares students to help business customers buy needed products, services, technologies, or solutions, thereby creating value for both organizations. The sales curriculum cultivates the critical knowledge and core skills and competencies needed in a competitive, complex and dynamic marketplace. Available courses include:

  • Negotiating and Conflict Resolution
  • Sales Force Management
  • Professional Selling and Communications
  • Marketing Analysis and Decision Making
  • Marketing Channels

Students are encouraged to attend Professional Development Program (PDP) activities as freshmen. The PDP is a student-run program with a series of events designed to facilitate learning opportunities for students outside of the classroom. Students enhance their understanding of different fields and build a solid understanding of different career opportunities.

The Hankamer School of Business offers several summer and semester study abroad programs all over the world as well as student exchange programs.

Baylor University also offers several Living-Learning Centers including the Entrepreneurship LLC. These LLC's are housing opportunities designed to place students of common interests together in living and learning environments.
