Human Resource Management

The Human Resources Management major is a comprehensive study of the way people work in a business, including the hiring process, employee training, conflict resolution and career planning. The objective of this program is to train students to be competent human resource specialists in any given business. Available courses include:

  • Organizational Leadership and Change
  • Employee Benefit Planning
  • Employment Law
  • Compensation and Performance Appraisal
  • Human Resource Staffing and Labor Relations

Students graduating with a degree in Human Resources Management can expect to find careers in any business field. Specialists work closely with all employees of a business, guiding the staff members through transitions. Majors might also find positions in recruiting for various businesses.

The Hankamer School of Business offers several summer and semester study abroad programs all over the world as well as student exchange programs.

Baylor University also offers several Living-Learning Centers including the Entrepreneurship LLC. These LLC's are housing opportunities designed to place students of common interests together in living and learning environments.
