Financial Planning

The Financial Planning major is a broad study of the financial processes and services of a company with an emphasis on personal financial planning. Students graduate qualified to take the Comprehensive CFP Certification Examination. Available courses include:

  • Personal Financial Planning
  • Short Term Financial Planning
  • Money and Banking
  • Business Risk Management

The financial services industry is growing rapidly, providing a number of opportunities for Financial Services majors. Career opportunities include personal financial planning, private banking/trust, securities brokerage, insurance agency sales and employee benefit planning/consulting.

The Hankamer School of Business offers several summer and semester study abroad programs all over the world as well as student exchange programs.

Baylor University also offers several Living-Learning Centers including the Entrepreneurship LLC. These LLC's are housing opportunities designed to place students of common interests together in living and learning environments.
