Business Spanish

The purpose of a Business Language degree is to incorporate language fluency into a Bachelor of Business Administration. All Business Language majors require that the student also complete the major requirements for a second major in another area of business. Available courses include:

  • International Marketing
  • Economic Geography
  • Spanish Civilization
  • Spanish for Christian Ministry
  • Latin American Poetry

Students graduating with a Business Language degree can find career opportunities in many places including government agencies, international organizations, multinational corporations, banking or financial services.

Though not a requirement, studying abroad is highly encouraged for all International Business and Business Language majors. Baylor offers several study abroad opportunities to Spanish speaking countries.

Baylor University also offers several Living-Learning Centers. These LLC's are housing opportunities designed to place students of common interests together in living and learning environments. Baylor offers a Global Community Living-Learning Center. Although available for all majors and classifications, the Global LLC is ideal for students majoring in a foreign language and wishing to put their skill into practice.
