Owing to the value of hands-on experience, Baylor helps students find rich opportunities for summer internships. Most students in the general Engineering degree have chosen this program with the intent to continue their education through graduate studies.
The Engineering program offers a unique study abroad opportunity, the i5 Program (Immersion Into International Interdisciplinary Innovation). The program is designed to help students develop science and technology insight, business savvy and global cultural competence through real-world business, engineering, and computer science experiences. Students spend five weeks in China and earn six credit hours.
Baylor offers three residential colleges for students wishing to live and invest in a community of students with similar interests. Among these is the Teal Residential College for Engineering and Computer Science located in the East Village residential area.
