Geography

Geography students learn about the Earth and all its inhabitants, both in terms of where we are and where we came from. The geography program is designed for students to go into one of two specific fields: physical or political geography. Available courses include:

  • World Geography
  • Cultural Geography
  • Physical Geography
  • Business Geographics
  • Introduction to Geographic Information Systems

Graduates of the Geography program often continue their studies through graduate school. Geography courses may also be combined with courses in education for teaching certification. Many students select this option and enter the workforce as teachers at various levels.
