At the time of admission, new transfer students are considered for one of Baylor's academic scholarships.

• Transfer Baylor Scholarship recipients will receive only the highest level of scholarship for which they qualify.
• Renewal of these scholarships each year is contingent upon maintaining the required cumulative Baylor grade point average of at least 3.0.
• These academic scholarships require full-time undergraduate enrollment each academic year.
• Need-based scholarship consideration is based on documented need as determined through the information provided on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and availability of funding.

Due to varying grade scales across the United States, Baylor recalculates all high school GPAs to assess students according to one equitable scale. At the time of admission, new freshmen are considered for one of Baylor's academic scholarships. If the application for admission is received after February 1, 2013, scholarship consideration may be based on available funding.

• Academic scholarship recipients must meet all university requirements for regular admission.
• Students may take the SAT or ACT more than once for consideration as long as the test is completed prior to the first day of class at Baylor University.
• Regents' Gold Scholarship recipients are not eligible for President's, Provost's, and Deans' Gold Scholarships. Recipients of the Regents' Gold Scholarship are expected to maintain a 3.5 cumulative Baylor grade point average for renewal in subsequent years.
• President's Gold Scholarship, Provost's Gold Scholarship, and Deans' Gold Scholarship recipients will receive only the highest level of scholarship for which they qualify. Recipients of these academic scholarships are expected to maintain a 3.0 cumulative Baylor grade point average for renewal in subsequent years.
• These academic scholarships require full-time undergraduate enrollment each academic year.
