Lesa Bush is the Associate Director of Education and Programs for Baylor University’s Mayborn Museum. She began her career as an elementary school teacher for Waco ISD. While visiting a museum with her class, she realized her passion for informal learning. She has worked in the museum field since 1999 and has taught in the Museum Studies Department since 2012.

Ms. Bush has served on the Texas Association of Museum Educator’s Committee as the Children’s Museum Representative from 2003 through 2007. She worked on the TAM Program Committee and eventually served on TAM Council from 2008 through 2010.

Ms. Bush currently teaches the undergraduate Museum Education Course for the Museum Studies Department and enjoys giving the students real world opportunities to engage visitors within the museum setting.
