Personal Development

Are you up late studying? Trying to clean out the fridge before the break and running low on food? Cramming for finals and in need of some brain fuel? Then come by the GRC between 8 am and 6 pm on May 9-13 for some end-of-semester snacks! We’re proud of you for making it through the last 15 weeks and we hope these treats will encourage you to keep studying, writing, teaching, and working.

The Baylor McNair Scholars Program aims to prepare low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented students to navigate a path to a doctoral program following their time at Baylor. Over the summer, current graduate students host workshops on topics such as presenting research, interviews, work-life balance, funding, etc. to help prepare students for success in graduate school. If you're interested in volunteering with the McNair Scholars Summer Workshops or want more information, please fill out this form.

If you’re on Facebook, join us over in the grad student housing group! This group was created to help Baylor grad students and young professionals find subleases, roommates, or other affordable housing options without being overwhelmed by undergraduate posts. We sometimes receive emails asking for help with housing, and this group is one of the best ways to connect grad students to one another. See you there!Waco Farmers Market
