To minor in dance, students must complete 20 hours of study. Students in any major across the University may choose to minor in Dance, but more often than not it is prior interest and training in dance that leads students to pursue this minor.

Most degree programs at Baylor do not require a student to select a minor area of study, but students may choose to minor in a field that supplements their major or may choose to pursue an area of academic interest completely outside their major. For example, a Biology major who loves to work in the lab, but also enjoys creative expression may choose to minor in dance.

Courses a student might take include Pedagogy of Dance, Advanced Ballet or Social Dance.
