If you're a high school junior right now trying to decide what to do next summer, we have some great options for you to consider! We hope you'll apply for one of our summer programs designed specifically for rising high school seniors. Each of these programs will give you a glimpse into what life is like at Baylor while diving into a subject of interest to you.
Advanced Studies is a program that allows qualified high school students to take courses at Baylor during the summer after their junior year. Students may attend either one or both summer sessions if they meet the admission requirements. Students must complete their junior year with appropriate progress made toward graduation, either rank in the top quarter of their high school class or have a 3.4 GPA as calculated by Baylor for schools that do not rank, and score at least 1210 on the SAT or 27 on the ACT, and must have the recommendation of their high school counselor. While Advanced Studies is primarily a summer program, Waco area students who live at home may also take courses during their senior year in high school. Learn more about Advanced Studies.
