Dr. Wesley Null serves as Baylor University's Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education (VPUE). Prior to beginning his role as Vice Provost in March 2011, Dr. Null served as Associate Dean of Baylor's Honors College, Acting Director of the University's Honors Program, and director of Baylor's Ph.D. in Curriculum & Teaching Program. He conducts research on curriculum theory and history of education, having published numerous books and articles in these fields. For more about Dr. Null and his research, click here.Dr. Null holds a joint appointment in the Honors College and the School of Education, where he serves as Professor of Curriculum & Foundations of Education. Dr. Null joined the Baylor faculty in 2001. He holds a B.S.Ed. and an M.Ed. from Eastern New Mexico University and a Ph.D. from The University of Texas at Austin.
The Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education reports directly to the Executive Vice President and Provost and collaborates with senior administration and faculty to coordinate and provide a common vision for undergraduate education at Baylor. In particular, the VPUE supervises the process of undergraduate curriculum revision and oversees the work of the Paul L. Foster Success Center and the Office of the Registrar. He also communicates closely with Student Life, Enrollment Management, and all academic units to ensure pathways for student success and to recognize high achieving undergraduates.
