Traditions Rally is a free, community-wide celebration held each year before the Bears kick off their first home game. This year, Baylor takes on Lamar at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, September 12. The Friday Traditions Rally will include a Baylor football pep rally with the Golden Wave Marching Band, spirit squads and members of the Bears’ 2015 football team, Brad Paisley in concert and a fireworks show over Pat Neff Hall to close out the celebration.
As the 2015 Baylor Football season kicks off, Brad Paisley will bring his show to Baylor University to provide free entertainment for the campus community. A critically acclaimed singer, songwriter, guitarist and entertainer whose talents have earned him numerous awards, including three GRAMMYs, two American Music Awards, 14 Academy of Country Music Awards and 14 Country Music Association Awards (including Entertainer of the Year), among many others will roll into Waco for Traditions Rally 2015 with the Country Nation College Tour presented by Zaxby’s on September 11.
4:00 p.m.: IFC Tailgate (students only)
5:30 p.m.: Fountain Mall Opens for All Guests: first-come, first-served until venue capacity is reached
7:00 p.m.: Season Opening Pep Rally: band, cheerleaders, football team
7:30 p.m.: Bobby Bones Concert
8:30 p.m.: Brad Paisley Concert
Approx. 10:00 p.m.: Fireworks show over Pat Neff Hall following concert

The IFC All-Student Tailgate will begin at 4:00 p.m. in Baylor Park behind South Russell. Student IDs are required for entry into the area and for free hot dogs and hamburgers. New Students are asked to wear Slime Caps and Line Jerseys.
Wristbands for a reserved student area at the Traditions Rally/concert will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at the IFC Tailgate. Doors to the Fountain mall open at 5:30 and students may begin filling the reserved area at that time. Any space remaining in the reserved section at 6:45 p.m. will be open to the public.
Fans may not erect structures or move barricades, barrels, fencing or any other traffic control devices. All signs and instructions must be obeyed.
Service animals are welcome. All other animals will be prohibited from entry.
Cameras with lenses 4" or smaller are permitted. Tripods, monopods, and selfie sticks are not allowed.
Drones and other Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) may not be flown or operated from or over Baylor property.
Baylor is a smoke-free campus. No smoking, traditional or non-traditional, allowed.
No abusive or foul language, disruptive behavior or actions deemed dangerous or inappropriate will be tolerated. Clothing must be appropriate for a family event – no revealing clothing or imprints with profane language or slogans; no identifiers as indicators of gang affiliation such as colored bandanas, specific headwear, etc.
No trespassing, soliciting, peddling or loitering allowed on Baylor’s campus.
