About Dallas
Louise Herrington School of Nursing is centrally located just east of downtown Dallas on the 32 block campus of Baylor University Medical Center, a five-hospital complex internationally recognized for its transplantation programs and other specialty care. Although not formally a part of Baylor University in Waco, our BUMC neighbor provides clinical placements for School of Nursing students and other significant support to the School.
Dallas, the eighth largest U.S. city, is home to just over one million residents, and more than 4.5 million people live in the six-county metroplex area. The resources listed below offer information on a broad range of interests, institutions and organizations in this area.
