The Paul and Jane Meyer Family Foundation has donated $2.5 million to create the Paul and Jane Meyer Conference Center within a new 275,000-square-foot facility that will house Baylor's Hankamer School of Business.

Bryan F. Shaw, Ph.D., an assistant professor of chemistry and biochemistry in Baylor's College of Arts and Sciences, was the lead study author on research that has suggested parents can use digital cameras and smart phones to screen their children for retinoblastoma, a common form of pediatric eye cancer. Shizuo Mukai, M.D., an associate professor of ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School, co-authored the study.
