WACO, Texas (April 25, 2018) – Baylor University’s Center for Christian Philosophy (BCCP) and the Institute for Studies of Religion (ISR) have been awarded a three-year, $2 million research grant from Templeton Religion Trust (TRT), which will allow a multidisciplinary team of scholars to study the virtue of accountability and its relation to other human goods, including conscientiousness, empathy, humility, forgiveness and gratitude. The research project will begin this fall.

WACO, Texas (March 22, 2018) – For the second year, a multidisciplinary team of Baylor University students in journalism, social work and business served in Athens, Greece, to help provide relief and education to refugees, bring awareness to their stories and build relationships with those in need.

WACO, Texas (Feb. 8, 2018) — Baylor University recently was awarded a $1.5 million grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. to fund a five-year project called Soundings. The project will allow Baylor to serve as an innovation hub for 15 Texas congregations as the university and congregational leaders together reflect deeply and theologically about the nature of vocation.
I made the decision to attend Baylor as a first grader while sitting in the end zone with my older brother and sister at a Baylor football game. My parents, in whose memory this gift is given, met at Baylor in 1946…
