QUALIFICATIONS: The candidate should possess an earned doctorate in an appropriate field of study and academic achievements commensurate with the status of full professor. Area of Specialization is ethics. For a candidate with a particularly eminent scholarly record, the appointment may include the designation "Distinguished Professor of Ethics".
RESPONSIBILITIES: Over the course of the year teaching includes both graduate and undergraduate courses; at least one graduate course a year in Moral Philosophy. Also, responsibilities include directing dissertations, mentoring graduate and undergraduate students; serving on departmental or university committees.
RANK AND SALARY: Full Professor, salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
