Sexual Harassment Prevention Training

Sexual Harassment: Preventive Measures class now available online

Harassment and discrimination occurs in organizations across the country, even at a Christian university. Regardless of your job title or position, it is important to learn how to recognize and prevent these situations and Baylor's expectations of your compliance with policies regarding these issues.

To facilitate the goal of all employees completing harassment prevention training, the HR Center for Learning & Leadership has provided an online version of the course Sexual Harassment: Preventative Measures. This class, presented by Assistant General Counsel Doug Welch, addresses the legal definition of harassment, the applications of harassment prevention laws and consequences of violations in a higher education environment, and important practices to prevent such harassment. The online class includes a video recording of the presentation along with supporting materials, followed by a short five-question quiz to verify completion. The entire course takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete and can be accessed from the Baylor website through Blackboard. To learn how to enroll in and access the course, CLICK HERE.
