POSITION: Lecturer; Drawing, Design, and Illustration.

QUALIFICATIONS: M.F.A. or M.A. Provide evidence of commitment and success in teaching observational drawing and two-dimensional design, as well as a professional record in studio art / illustration. Three years teaching experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach Drawing I, Two-dimensional Design, and an occasional

Illustration course. Faculty will serve as an active member of the Foundation area in the Department of Art in the College of Arts and Sciences. Committee work is possible.

QUALIFICATIONS: M.F.A.required. Three years college/university teaching experience preferred. Applicant must demonstrate strong teaching skills and commitment to film photography as well as digital as evidenced in professional work. Record of professional achievement expected.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in darkroom, alternative processes, and digital photography in a two-­‐person discipline area. Ongoing professional/creative research expected.

QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. required. Provide evidence of scholarship and teaching experience commensurate with rank. Candidate should be comfortable with undergraduate education in a studio environment and eager to embrace the special opportunities of the Allbritton Art Institute.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaching responsibilities include courses in Introduction to Art for nonmajors and upper-level courses in 19th century art of Europe and America. Commitment to excellence in teaching and continued professional activity expected. Allbritton Art Institute responsibilities include directing student study travel each semester in the U.S. or abroad.
