POSITION: Assistant Professor of Art - Graphic Design (tenure-track position)

QUALIFICATIONS: MFA in Graphic Design required. Prefer three or more years of professional design experience, teaching experience at the university level with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. The successful candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of Mac OS, industry-standard print and web design software, as well as HTML and CSS.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The teaching load is 2/2 while on tenure-track with expectation to maintain an active and peer-recognized professional practice of client-initiated projects and/or an academic research agenda.

RANK AND SALARY: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.

POSITION: Assistant or Associate Professor of Art - Painting (tenure-track position)

QUALIFICATIONS: M.F.A. required. Five years college/university teaching experience beyond TA, teaching Painting and Figure Drawing. Applicant must demonstrate strong skills in teaching both objective/perceptual and non-objective/conceptual problems and a commitment to painting as evidenced in professional work.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in Painting, both in Acrylic and Oils, and an occasional advanced anatomical figure drawing course. Ongoing professional/creative research expected.

RANK AND SALARY: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
