POSITION: Assistant Professor in the Baylor Interdisciplinary Core
QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. in a social science or a humanities discipline with significant research interests in some aspect of social theory. Previous experience or demonstrated interest in teaching in an interdisciplinary context is highly desirable.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will teach in the Social World sequence in the Baylor Interdisciplinary Core, and other courses in the BIC to be determined by the candidate's field. Some teaching in the candidate's disciplinary department may be arranged. Teaching load, scholarly expectations and committee obligations are consistent with those of a research university.
RANK AND SALARY: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
