The Honors College is proud to offer scholarships to incoming and current Honors College students. With more than 75 percent of current students receiving some type of financial assistance, Baylor has focused on increasing endowed scholarships to help keep Baylor affordable for families, while providing students with the highest quality Christian education at Baylor.
All Honors College scholarships are merit-based; some also are need-based. Filing the FAFSA is important for all applicants, whether or not you think you may be eligible for need-based aid.
Initial rounds of scholarship offers will be made to applicants to, and current members of, any of our four majors/programs who elect to reside in the Honors Residential College and Great Texts majors/minors who elect to reside in Brooks Residential College.

International students should submit the online CSS/Financial Aid Profile to establish financial need for Honors College scholarships. Simply enter Baylor University's code - 6032 - to ensure your profile is shared with Baylor University's Financial Aid Office and, subsequently, with the Honors College Scholarship Committee.
To be considered for any of these scholarships, an applicant must have and maintain at least a 3.6 GPA. More information on scholarships for particular purposes (e.g., study abroad, mission opportunities) as well as for general support at Baylor is available here.
