The process of awarding scholarships is now complete for the academic year 2013-14; please consider applying for next year's awards. The committee will begin consideration of 2014-15 academic year awards in Spring 2014. The online application for these will be available on this Web page in January 2014.

The Honors College is proud to offer scholarships to incoming and current Honors College students. With more than 75 percent of current students receiving some type of financial assistance, Baylor has focused on increasing endowed scholarships to help keep Baylor affordable for families, while providing students with the highest quality Christian education at Baylor. All Honors College scholarships are merit-based; some also are need-based. Filing the FAFSA is important for all applicants, whether or not you think you may be eligible for need-based aid. Initial rounds of scholarship offers will be made to applicants to, and current members of, any of our four majors/programs who elect to reside in the Honors Residential College and Great Texts majors/minors who elect to reside in Brooks Residential College. All Honors College scholarships are merit-based; some also are need-based. Generous donors have endowed several scholarship funds that supplement the funding that may already be provided by the University. Learn more about these scholarships here!
Current Students: To be considered for any of these scholarships, an applicant must have and maintain at least a 3.6 GPA. More information on scholarships for particular purposes (e.g., study abroad, mission opportunities) as well as for general support at Baylor is available here. |
