Faculty Impact
Faculty Impact
From generation to generation, Baylor students have been transformed by the teaching and mentorship of dedicated, caring faculty members. Outstanding professors have been central to Baylor's history, and nurturing the strong connection between faculty members and students is at the heart of Pro Futuris, the University's strategic vision.

Baylor has a wide range of programs designed to reward excellence in teaching and to develop the skills of faculty members in the classroom and in other areas of the student experience. The designation of Master Teacher, the highest honor at Baylor, is given to exceptional faculty members who have had a profound impact on students' lives. Additionally, Baylor's Academy for Teaching and Learning provides a number of resources to inspire a flourishing community of learning on campus, including University Teaching Grants, Seminars for Excellence in Teaching, and modeling positive pedagogical practices in the Summer Faculty Institute.

Your gift will enhance Baylor's identity as a place where teaching excellence and the caring mentorship of students provide the next generation of leaders with a transformative education.

On Topic
On Topic
A college campus is a thriving place of ideas and intellectual experiences that enrich students' lives and help them envision new horizons. Baylor hosts a large number of programs each year featuring outstanding leaders in their fields who engage students in the life of the mind, the work of the soul and the joy of the spirit.

A cornerstone of this aspect of campus life is On Topic, a series of compelling conversations on contemporary issues hosted by Baylor President and Chancellor Ken Starr. Since its beginning in 2011, On Topic has brought to campus such prominent public figures as Sandra Day O'Connor, George Mitchell, Rudy Giuliani and Condoleezza Rice.

Your gift will help Baylor continue to host such outstanding leaders and thinkers as the University encourages students and the local community to address the important issues facing our nation.

Academic Excellence Funds
Academic Excellence Funds
Baylor has established an Academic Excellence Fund for each of the University's academic divisions. These funds empower the dean of each division to address unforeseen needs and to pursue strategic opportunities for growth and enhancement, whether it's supporting an innovative classroom experience developed by a faculty member, buying new lab equipment, renovating a facility or funding an initiative to give students hands-on experience in their career fields.

Your gift will make a significant difference in Baylor's success by giving the University's nationally recognized divisions the enhanced financial means to achieve excellence:
