Baylor women’s tennis kicks off its dual-match season with a double-header on Sunday, Jan. 22, at Hurd Tennis Center. The Lady Bears begin with a 12 p.m. (CT) dual-match against UTRGV and conclude play against McNeese State at 3:30 p.m.

The No. 2/2 Baylor Lady Bears (18-1, 7-0) will play their seventh ranked opponent of the season in No. 24/23 West Virginia (15-4, 3-4) on Saturday, Jan. 21, at 1 p.m. (CT) inside the Ferrell Center. The Saturday afternoon matchup is the We Back Pat game, which is held annually to support the Pat Summitt Foundation and Alzheimer’s Awarness.

Baylor women's basketball is the only Big 12 Conference program to have players recognized in the Wooden Award Midseason 25. The Los Angeles Athletic Club announced this week that senior forward Nina Davis and redshirt senior guard Alexis Jones are in consideration for the 41st John R. Wooden Award, which honors the most outstanding basketball player of the year.
