Emergency Notification Test Friday

The monthly test of the outdoor mass notification and indoor voice evacuation systems will occur this Friday, December 6 between 2:15 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Due to the volume of buildings recently added to the system, there may be more than two activations of the systems during this 15 minute period, each activation approximately 30 seconds long.

Please note that 18 additional buildings will now be included in the test. The following facilities are those with indoor voice evacuation systems that will be included in the testing:

  • Carroll Science
  • Dining Commons
  • 8th St. Parking Facility
  • Ferrell Center
  • 5th St. Parking Facility

  • Hooper Schaefer
  • Indoor Batting Cages
  • Jones Library
  • Memorial Dining
  • Pat Neff Hall
  • Poage Library
  • Robinson Tower
  • Roxy Grove
  • Simpson Athletic and Academic Complex
  • Speight Parking Plaza
  • Stacey Riddle

Existing Buildings:

  • All residence halls
  • Baylor Sciences
  • Draper/Burleson/Old Main
  • East parking Garage
  • Hankamer School of Business/Cashion
  • McMullen Faculty Dining
  • Moody Library

Floyd Casey Stadium and Hart-Patterson Track Complex, in addition to campus proper will also be included in the testing.
