Monthly Test of Outdoor/Indoor Emergency Notification Systems Set for Friday

The monthly test of Baylor University's outdoor mass notification and indoor voice evacuation systems will occur between 2:15 and 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1. During this period, there will be two activations of the systems, each approximately 30 seconds long. Please note that 18 additional buildings will now be included in the test. The following facilities are those with indoor voice evacuation systems that will be included in the testing:

Clifton Robinson Tower
East Village Dining Commons
Eighth Street Parking Facility
Ferrell Center
Fifth Street Parking Facility
Getterman Indoor Softball Facility
Harris House
Hooper Schaefer Fine Arts Center
Jones Library
Memorial Dining
Pat Neff Hall
Poage Library
Roxy Grove Hall
Simpson Athletic and Academic Complex
Speight Parking Plaza
Stacey Riddle Forum

Existing Buildings:

All residence halls
Baylor Sciences Building
Draper/Burleson/Old Main
East Campus Parking Facility
Hankamer School of Business / Cashion
Academic Center
McMullen-Connally Faculty Dining
Moody Library
Sid Richardson Building
Floyd Casey Stadium and Hart-Patterson Track Complex, in addition to campus proper, will also be included in the testing.

You are not required to do anything in response to the monthly test, this is simply a notification. Please share this information with faculty and staff within the building you occupy.
