Baylor Business Review Magazine Honored By Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE)

Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business fared well in the 2007 Council for the Advancement and Support of Education's District IV awards competition. The School's Communications and Marketing Department picked up 5 awards Monday, April 2 in Dallas.

Baylor Business Review, the alumni magazine of the Hankamer School of Business, won the Grand Award in the magazine category. The magazine also won an Award of Excellence for overall magazine design and an Achievement Award for the editorial spread, "Q&A with Mark Hurd."

Focus Newsletter, a quarterly business research newsletter, was given a Special Award in the Newsletters/Tabloids/Newspapers category. The poster invitation for the Business Ethic Forum, an event held in the fall, was also given a Special Award for Visual Design-Poster.

Cynthia Jackson is the director of Communications and Marketing for the Hankamer School of Business. Beth Barbee is the managing editor of Baylor Business Review and Irene Carpenter oversees circulation and distribution of the magazine. The magazine and Business Ethics Forum materials were designed by Pollei Designworks. Focus Newsletter was designed by Eric Yarbrough and Brenda Tacker contributed to the project.

Members of CASE District IV include both public and private colleges and universities in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas and Louisiana.
