Business Professors Recognized with Outstanding Faculty Awards
June 27, 2006The following professors at the Hankamer School of Business were recognized with Outstanding Faculty Awards in Spring 2006:
Professor Martha Agee, lecturer in Business Law — teaching award for non-tenured faculty throughout the university
Dr. Tom Kelly, professor of Economics and director of the Center for Business and Economic Research — award for significant contributions to the Academic community in ways other than teaching or researching.
Dr. Charles Delaney, Associate Professor of Real Estate — teaching award for tenured faculty (selected from nominations from Schools of Business, Law, Engineering and Computer Science)
Baylor University bestows ten awards each spring. There are three tenured awards: one from Business, Law, Engineering and Computer Science; one from Education, Music, Nursing, Seminary, Libraries; and one from Arts and Sciences. There is one tenure-track teaching award, chosen from among all schools. There is one teaching award chosen from lecturers among all schools. There are also four scholarship awards: one from Business, Law, Engineering and Computer Science; one from Education, Music, Nursing, Seminary, Libraries; one from Arts and Sciences; and one from non-tenured faculty among all schools. In addition, there is one tenured or non-tenured award for “significant contributions to the Academic community in ways other than teaching or research.”
