Baldwin Named Ernst & Young Teaching FellowNov. 30, 2004
Dr. Jane Baldwin, professor of accounting, has been appointed to the Ernst and Young Teaching Fellowship in Accounting. A member of the Baylor faculty since 1981, Dr. Baldwin has long been recognized by students and faculty as a superb teacher. In 1999 she was named Accounting Educator of the Year by the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and in 1991 students voted her as the Most Popular Business Professor. She has also been recognized twice in Who’s Who among America’s Teachers.
Dr. Baldwin’s teaching expertise extends beyond the classroom. She has published pedagogical research in Advances in Accounting Education and Journal of Accounting Education.
Dr. Baldwin holds a BS in accounting from Arkansas State University, an MBA from Baylor University, and a PhD from the University of Arkansas.
