Famous Author, Financial Manager, to Speak February 23

Sally S. Kleberg

Sally S. Kleberg, author of books such as The Stewardship of Private Wealth and Managing Personal & Family Financial Assets, will speak about the "Importance of Vision and Values in the Family Business" to entrepreneurship students at Baylor University on February 23. She will be addressing Dr. Nancy Upton's class for managing a family business.

Kleberg is manager for the Kleberg Asset Stewardship Education Study, which offers advisory services for families and their service providers, emphasizing financial literacy, education and integration of family and business goals regarding ownership, management and wealth. The organization emphasizes the inclusion of women, the younger generation and philanthropy into the education and management process.

A former Sr. Vice President of Bankers Trust's Owner Managed Business Advisory unit, Kleberg also served for ten years as Shareholders' Representative on the Board of Directors of her family's company, King Ranch, Inc. of Kingsville, Texas.

She is a graduate of Duke University and the University of Texas at Austin's Institute of Latin American Studies.
