Baylor's Hankamer School of Business Earns Seven American Advertising Awards

Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business communications and marketing materials earned multiple awards in the Waco American Advertising Federation (AAF) American Advertising Awards, formerly called the ADDY Awards. Winners were announced during a ceremony at Hotel Indigo in Waco Thursday night.

The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, attracting over 50,000 entries every year in local competitions. The mission is to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising.

Baylor Business ReviewThe New Digital Dawn” also earned the top honor of the night, the “Best of Show” award.

Gold award winners will now be forwarded to the next level of competition.

Conducted annually by the AAF, the local American Advertising Awards is the first of a three-tier, national competition. Concurrently, all across the country, local entrants vie for recognition as the very best in their markets. At the second tier, local winners compete against other winners in one of 15 district competitions. District winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national American Advertising Awards competition.

Baylor Business shares these awards with Pollei DesignWorks and Baylor Photography. In addition, copywriter Dean Reilly collaborated on the Dean’s Homecoming Breakfast invitation, and graduate students Bailey Eubanks and Brynn Sankey collaborated on the the Hankamer School of Business Strategic Plan Video and Austin EMBA Video.
