Who Should Apply?
We encourage applicants from a variety of academic and professional backgrounds to apply to the program.
Baylor's mission of cultivating skilled, highly educated and ethical information technology professionals starts with a passion for pursuing excellence. The Admissions Committee looks for this passion when reviewing prior academic performance, GMAT or GRE score and resume.
If you already have an undergraduate degree in business, you can begin the MSIS curriculum upon acceptance to the program starting in either the spring or fall semester.
If you received an undergraduate degree in a field other than business, you will begin the MSIS program taking the Integrated Management Seminar (IMS). The Integrated Management Seminar can be completed in either the summer or fall semester. Core MSIS courses will begin the semester following IMS.
