S3 Major Courses
- Students wishing to apply to the S3 major should first take MKT 3342 during the sophomore year. This course allows students to determine if they are well-suited for a career in sales or customer relationship management in the area of professional sports.
- All S3 majors should take CSS 3306 (Interviewing) to fulfill Written & Oral Communication requirements for their degree. Students wishing to take a foreign language should take CSS 3306 in addition to their foreign language requirements.
- All S3 majors take the five courses listed below. Based on interest, students select one specialization track in either Ticket Sales, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), or Sports Media Sales.

Internships & Job Placement
The first internship (MKT 4396) places students in a summer internship according to the selected S3 track: ticket sales (pro teams), customer relationship management (pro teams), media/corporate sales (e.g., Fox Sports). Students in ticket or media sales take a second internship on campus gaining experience in call center sales & management working with actual clients selling sports & sponsorships. During the senior year, S3 majors interview with S3 Board Members for positions starting immediately following graduation.
