McBride Center Launches New Global Initiative

July 1, 2011

The McBride Center for International Business is launching a new initiative that will be known as the Baylor Business Global Connection (BBGC). The BBGC will provide support to BaylorBusiness through the development and and management of global relationships. The project is led by Jim Anderson, a Baylor and Thunderbird School of Global Management alumnus who teaches International Marketing courses at the Hankamer School of Business. Jim is working with Brent Edwards (Director of the Baylor Global Network) and Julie LaStrape in the McBride Center to identify Baylor alumni and other supporters who are in a good position to serve as partners on international projects. The BBGC will generate opportunities for international research, contacts for study-abroad programs, summer enterprise teaching assignments for faculty, and internships for students.

For more information on this program contact Jim Anderson or Julie LaStrape.
