Baylor MBA Receives Texas Business Hall of Fame ScholarshipOct. 29, 2006
Aimee Clement, an MBA candidate from Sugar Land, TX, has been selected to receive a scholarship from the Texas Business Hall of Fame. The Texas Business Hall of Fame selects 15 students from various MBA programs in the state. Three students are nominated by each university, and after a rigorous review process, 15 are selected to receive a $7,500 scholarship.
Aimee received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor in May 2005. Graduating summa cum laude, Aimee entered the MBA program with full tuition remission, and has maintained the highest GPA of any female in the program. Aimee is currently serving an internship with Continental Airlines, working with the Financial Analysis and Marketing Controller groups. Aimee has also been involved in Showtime, Baylor's musical theater ensemble. The ensemble has toured extensively in both the U.S. and Europe, including performing this summer as artists-in-residence at the prestigious American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria.
Aimee's future plans include continuing her education, earning a Ph.D. in Business. Afterward, she hopes to become a professor at a respected university and to impact and inspire future generations of business students.
Aimee received her award Oct 26 at the Texas Business Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, held at the Hilton Hotel Americas in Houston.
