Sheridan Titman

Dr. Sheridan Titman holds the McAllister Centennial Chair in Financial Services at The University of Texas at Austin and is a research associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research. Titman's research interests include both investments and corporate finance. Among other publications, he co-authored a leading advanced corporate finance textbook, Financial Markets and Corporate Strategy. Prior to joining the faculty at Texas, Titman taught at UCLA, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Boston College. During 1988-89, Titman served as special assistant to the Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Economic Policy in Washington, D.C. Titman is a past director of the American Finance Association and a current director of both the Asia Pacific Finance Association and the Western Finance Association.
