Baylor-USASBE Student Case Writing Competition Now Accepting Submissions
April 2, 2011The 2012 Baylor-USASBE Student Case Writing Competition is now accepting submissions. This is an innovative international event that supports and encourages undergraduate and graduate students from across the globe who wish to engage in case research and case writing. Submitted cases must be original and must not have been previously published nor submitted for review to a conference, book, or journal. Submitted cases are suitable if they advance the field of entrepreneurship and contribute to our understanding of entrepreneurial phenomena.
Congratulations again to the 2011 Baylor-USASBE Student Case Writing Competition award winners:
First place: Queens University of Charlotte
Student presenters: Jud Allen and Margaret Jane Willoughby
Case title: "U.S. National Whitewater Center"
Second place: IBS Hyderabad, India
Student presenters: Somaditya Das and Wasim Kalwa
Case title: "SKS Microfinance: Managing Growth and Continuity of a Social Enterprise"
Third place: University of Colorado at Boulder
Student presenters: Ryan Karlin and Rois Langner
Case title: "Tendril Networks, Inc."
The next competition will be held in January 2012 at the USASBE Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. The deadline for submissions is September 2, 2011.
