Responsibilities During the Internship

Getting Started

Prior to the student beginning an internship at your company, please provide the Internship Program Manager with detailed parameters of the internship by completing the intern position description (available as a Word document or an online form).

You should review the Internship Guidelines for Companies and then sign and return a copy to Amy Easley.

Work Log Review

During the student's internship, the student's supervisor at your company should initial the intern's journal/log at the end of each week to track the number of work hours, document the intern's reflections and responses relative to the internship's responsibilities and experiences, and insure that the intern is provided a variety of management/entrepreneurial experiences.

Internship Evaluation

Upon the student completing the internship, the company must provide the intern a written evaluation (available as a Word document and an online form) of his/her job performance and share this documentation with the Baylor Entrepreneurship Internship Program Manager at the completion of the internship or one week before the last day of classes of the semester, whichever comes sooner.
