Ignite
The Ignite project, which is bringing transformation to Baylor business processes and resource management strategies, continues on track for a June 2020 release. As we start the year, the Ignite Team is eager to share updates and progress with the campus community.

Demo Sessions

Ignite Demo Sessions are happening now! This is the first opportunity for faculty and staff to see live demonstrations of the new system and learn how employees will work in Ignite before training is released in Spring 2020. Each interactive one-hour session demonstrates a few key tools in the system. Plus, the Ignite project team members are available to answer questions in a small group setting. Demo sessions launched the second week of December and will continue through the spring. Here's what participants are saying about the demo sessions:

“It was informative. It made me feel less stressed about the upcoming changes … I’m excited about the ease of the new process.”
And, “…it is very easy to click on tiles and do what you need to do...”

There are still sessions, and you can register online at baylor.edu/ignite. More demo sessions may be added, so check back frequently.

Navigation Module

If you haven’t had the opportunity to attend a demo session and want to see what Ignite is about, you can watch the Navigation module on the Ignite website. This will give you the first taste of the Ignite program. It shows you how to navigate Ignite, explains its functionality and shows the sleek and simple layout.

Training

The Ignite training team is working closely with colleagues across many areas to develop formal training. The team will ensure that you can access the appropriate learning opportunities. While much of the hands-on training is based on your role at Baylor, there are many ways to learn about Ignite:
• Demo Sessions
• On-Demand Videos
• FAQs on the Ignite website
• Computer-Based Courses (coming soon) and more

Details about training will be coming to the Ignite website in the Resources section.

Sparking Excitement

As the new year began, you may have noticed a SPARK of Ignite around campus — communications have increased with posters, signs and much more to build excitement toward to release of Ignite. They were created to provide answers to the frequently asked questions and prepare the campus community for June 2020.
