During "Open Advising", CASA Advisors advise students with 30-100 completed hours and by appointment only. For the list of majors CASA advises, please visit the CASA Advisors web page for more information. If you do not fall into this category, visit your BearWeb account (Registration, Advisement & Contact Information) for your specific advising areas and/or Advisor. Verify that your major is listed correctly.

What To Expect During An Advising Appointment
When scheduling your advising appointment, be sure to indicate what you are trying to get out of the appointment. CASA Advisors can help you in the following way:
- Plan for study abroad. If participating, you must bring all course selections and course equivalents to your appointment.
- Choose/reconsider/add a major or minor.
- Discuss how various programs (BIC, HON, Pre-Health, etc.) affect your degree plan and major.
- Discuss future plans (competing for international scholarships, preparing for careers and graduate/professional school) and how these relate to your academic studies.
- A combination of the above.
