CollegeNet MACH25 provides free access to the Wintergreen/Orchard House Scholarship Finder database. The CollegeNET MACH25 database contains listings of more than 500,000 private sector awards (including school-specific awards) from 1,570 sponsors, an estimated $1 billion in scholarship money. MACH25 uses residential, personal, academic, organizational affiliation, and general criteria to match the student's profile against the award listings. The student can view the results in brief or detailed formats, save individual awards in their profile, and generate letters to request additional information. The database is updated annually.

College Board's Scholarship Search contains listings of scholarships, fellowships, loans, internships, and other types of financial aid programs from 3,300 national, state, public and private sources.

FastWeb! (Financial Aid Search Through the Web) is a searchable database of more than 275,000 private sector scholarships, fellowships, grants, and loans from more than 10,000 sources worth more than $775 million. To use fastWEB, a student fills out a detailed profile through a series of online forms. After the forms are complete, fastWEB responds within 15 minutes with a list of matching award programs. Each entry in this list includes a deadline, a list of required majors, the amount of the award, a short description, and contact information.

Sallie Mae's Online Scholarship Service (CASHE) provides free access to the College Aid Sources for Higher Education (CASHE) database of numerous scholarships, fellowships, grants, loans, internships, competitions, and work-study programs sponsored by more than 3,600 organizations. SRN Express is the free web version of the Scholarship Resource Network (SRN) database. The SRN database contains listings of scholarships, fellowships, and grants for undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral education. The SRN database lists mostly portable, private-sector, non-need-based aid. A few awards (less than 20%) list financial need as a criterion. The database does not list institutional awards. The award listings in the SRN database contain more detailed information than can be found in most scholarship databases and scholarship listing books. The database contains more than 7,000 portable awards offered by more than 1,500 organizations worth a total of more than $23 million. New, verified scholarship information is being added to the SRN database continuously. Every program listed in the database is verified every year.
