WACO, Texas (Nov. 15, 2018) – This week, Baylor University will present performances from Heavenly Voices and the Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble, along with a chemistry and biochemistry colloquium.

MONDAY, Nov. 19

Chapel Highlights - Heavenly Voices, Baylor University’s Gospel Choir, will perform during Chapel at 9:05, 10:10 and 11:15 a.m. in Waco Hall, 624 Speight Ave. For more information, visit the Spiritual Life website.

Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble - The Symphonic Band Wind Ensemble will perform at 7:30 p.m. in Jones Concert Hall in the Glennis McCrary Music Building, 101 Baylor Ave. H. Robert Reynolds, Distinguished Conductor, will lead the concert. For more information, visit the School of Music website.

WEDNESDAY, Nov. 21

Chemistry and Biochemistry Colloquium - Jenny Roizen, Ph.D., assistant professor of chemistry at Duke University, will present “Masked Alcohols and Amines Guide Position-Selective C-H Functionalization Reactions.” The colloquium will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Room C.105 of the Baylor Sciences Building, 101 Bagby Ave. For more information, visit the chemistry website.

Thanksgiving Closures - Brooks Great Hall, East Village Dining Commons and 1845 at Memorial will be closed Nov. 21 to Nov. 25. Residential halls will remain open the duration of the holiday break. All administrative offices will be closed beginning Nov. 21, and will resume normal work hours Monday, Nov. 26.
