What's your favorite part about serving in the HRC?

I love working with students and seeing them grow. College is such a pivotal time when students develop their faith and identity. I really enjoy having life-shaping conversations with students about whatever it is they are wrestling with. It is such a privilege to walk with students through these four years. I also really enjoy singing with students in chapel and serving beside them locally and abroad. Feel free to email me if you ever need someone to talk to and we can grab coffee.

Tell us about your life beyond the HRC.

In case you can’t tell from my Memo office, I love fairy tales! I am currently writing about female fairy-tale authors in my dissertation. I also teach Brit Lit for the English department. Outside of Baylor, I love spending time with my friends. We play board games, go to Cameron Park Zoo, watch movies (I have a large classic movie collection), share meals, and pray together. I’m even part of an all-female D&D group (we call ourselves LaDy&D). I love reading and spending time with my family (I’m from Seattle but my extended family is here).
