Staff Merit is Coming!

If you manage staff, please make note of the following:

  • What to expect:
    • All Staff Merit processes will take place in Ignite
    • All levels of managers will recommend for their teams
      • Please partner with your leadership to define expectations and determine internal deadlines
    • To ensure accurate pay data, no base pay changes will be made May 1 to August 1, 2021
    • Specific Staff Merit job aides and training resources will be shared in May
  • Timeline:
    • Staff Merit kicks off with first level line managers May 10, 2021
    • Staff Merit increases will be effective August 1, 2021
      • Paid on monthly payroll: August 31, 2021
      • Paid on biweekly payroll: August 14, 2021

There are 3 steps to take now to ensure you, as a manager of staff, are prepared for a successful Staff Merit process:

  1. Review general compensation philosophy, pay grade, job profile, and supervisor trainings here.
  2. Log into Ignite, and review your direct reports:
    • Familiarize yourself with their base pay, job profile, pay grade, job title
  3. Begin having conversations with your leadership teams to establish expectations and determine internal deadlines
