There are many opportunities for you to learn more about the Honors College when you visit Baylor. Explore these options and decide what works best with your schedule!
The Honors College hosts information sessions for visiting prospective families each week. These are offered every Monday and Friday from 11:15 a.m. to noon. To register, simply sign up for a Visit Experience on a Monday or Friday and select the Honors College in the “Meet with a department representative” section of the registration form.
Hosted during the fall and spring semesters, Baylor Premiere is an open-house opportunity for prospective students and their parents to come to campus, meet with Baylor faculty, staff and students, and become familiar with life at Baylor. You'll also have an opportunity to attend an Honors College academic session to learn more about our four programs, meet our faculty and staff, and ask questions. The Honors College hosts several Distinguished Scholars Day events for academically talented high school seniors throughout the year. These are invitation-only events based on test score requirements and are designed to showcase exciting Honors-specific opportunities available. Participants can also apply for a $3,000 Distinguished Scholarship after attending.
Twice a year, the Honors College participates in the prestigious Invitation to Excellence event for high-achieving seniors. At this elite event, students have robust conversation with Honors College faculty and attend an academic breakout session hosted by the Honors College. Participants also receive a one-time $2,000 scholarship and are eligible to apply for a full-tuition faculty scholarship.
