Dr. Sweet receives 2021 Robert L. Reid Award for Outstanding Teaching in the Humanities

Congratulations to Dr. Julie Anne Sweet, the 2021 recipient of the Robert L. Reid Award for Outstanding Teaching in the Humanities!

This award was established in 1992 in honor of Prof. Robert Reid, who taught history at Baylor from 1948-1992 and served as the Chair of the History Department for 25 years. The Robert L. Reid Award is given to a faculty member in the Department of History for excellence in teaching, nominated by history students. Previous awardees include Dr. Bracy V. Hill (2019 & 2017), Dr. Jeffrey Hamilton (2007), Dr. Robert M. Baird (2001), Dr. Richard B. Riley (1997), Dr. Paul T. Armistead (1996), and Prof. Robert L. Reid (1992).
