The College of Arts & Sciences is Baylor University's largest academic division, consisting of 25 academic departments and seven academic centers and institutes. The more than 5,000 courses taught in the College provide the largest portion of Baylor's nationally recognized core curriculum, the foundation upon which every student's educational experience is built.

The James Vardaman Endowed Professorship Fund will help attract and retain professors in the Department of History. The funds may be used for, but are not limited to, the support of salary, research needs, scholarship and travel expenses.

The Hillis Scholars program provides scholarship support and research opportunities that prepare Baylor students for top medical schools and postgraduate health science programs and to become holistic healthcare professionals.
